Pend Oreille Co. Knights invite parishes to Rosary challenge

Ed Funkhouser, Grand Knight of Pend Oreille Council 14268, has issued a Rosary Challenge to the five Pend Oreille County Catholic Parishes to say 2023 Rosaries by year-end.

Pictured here are Mark Nugent, Advocate, and Fr. James Peak, Pastor, holding the Rosary results for the first four weeks of the challenge, 851 Rosaries prayed as of the week ending August 13. This picture was taken at Saint Anthony’s after the evening Mass on the Solemnity of The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The Knights ask that parishioners write down the number of Rosaries they pray at home, while traveling, or anywhere each week. There is also a special email set up to record these rosaries at PocoRosaries@gmail.com

The poster, designed by Mark Nugent, is updated weekly and displayed as you enter the church. It is also published monthly in the parish bulletin.
